Due to changes in the how the State of Idaho manages the presidential election primaries, the Democratic and Republican parties of Idaho have decided to hold caucuses in the state to determine the party candidates for the presidential election in 2024.
GOP Caucus March 2, 2024
The first of these caucuses is Saturday March 2nd for the Republican Party. If you are a Republican voter and want to be involved and have influence in who Idaho chooses for your party candidate, get involved ASAP. The caucuses are in person at local precinct offices all over the state.

First you need to find your local precinct which you can do by searching for yourself on the Idaho Secretary of State’s voter search page here: https://elections.sos.idaho.gov/ElectionLink/ElectionLink/VoterSearch.aspx

Idaho Voters who where registered as Republicans prior to December 31, 2023 can participate in the Republican Caucus on March 2, 2024
Democratic Party Caucus March 23, 2024
On Thursday, May 23rd the Idaho Democatic Party holds it’s presidential caucus. If you are a Democratic voter and want to be involved and have influence in who Idaho chooses for your party candidate, get involved ASAP. The caucuses are in person at local precinct offices all over the state.

You can use the same Secretary of State voter search above to find your precinct number, then find your caucus location at https://idahodems.org/caucus/ sometime after March 1st.
Any registered Democrat or unaffiliated voter who will be 18 by Election Day, November 5, 2024 may participate in the Democratic Caucus on May 23, 2024.
